Baking Class

Christmas is coming!  

What: One of our volunteer staff will be holding baking classes on Dec. 2nd and 4th.  

Time: 10:00 - 12:00.  

Cost: 800 yen (ingredients included).

Other: Children are welcome, but baby sitting will not be available. 

Other: No more than 8 adults will be permitted to sign up for each class.  

Sign up: at the cafe.

Yuu and Ayaka - Thanks

Ayaka & Yuu are Hokusei University students who have been volunteering at the cafe for the past several months on Saturday.  This Saturday, the 29th will be their last day to volunteer.  They spending their extra time to put a greater emphasis on their studies.  Smart move! 

They  have added their cheerful smiles, and will likely still come around.  We will mis their help. 

Saturday volunteers are needed.  If you are interested in an opportunity to work with native speakers in a friendly atmosphere, please let us know.

Eby to arrive January 9th

Eby, who visited us back in March of this year, is scheduled to come for three months.  

She will be arriving from Wisconsin January 9th.  

Especially since Justin & Rachel returned to the US in August, she will received a very warm welcome.   Some of you became friends with her.  For those who didn't, you will also have a chance. 

Eby loves Japan, people, horses and loves Cafe Co-En.    She has lived in Japan, so also speaks Japanese.   You will be glad she is part of the staff.
